Entertainer and multi instrumentalist, Jerry the Priest, has been performing in the nightclubs and galleries of Orange County and Los Angeles since the early 80s, excepting a decade-long sebatical during which he travelled by train, bus, bicycle, pneumatic raft, pogo stick and thumb throughout North America and the Middle East.

His music/theatre troupe, Humility Incorporated (formerly the Commandos of Humiliation ) is known for provocative satirical work whose content typically alludes to paradigms of the disenfranchised. A recent graduate of CalArts with an MFA in Experimental Theatre, this artist's poems, stories and essays have been published in Bombay Gin, Impetus and Paper Radio among other publications.

In addition to being banned from performing at a growing list of L.A. venues, Jerry was most recently reponsible for creating and hosting Lard Asylumøthe weekly perfomance series now happening as a monthly in the Alterknit Lounge at Hollywood's new Knitting Factory, where L*As holiday-season-busting extravaganza entitled the 'Last Chance North Pole Booty Review' takes place Christmas Eve. An interview with him appears in the November7th, 2000 Calendar Section of the Los Angeles times.
