met with Steve Roach in September 1999. We spent an afternoon
with him at his recording studio, the Timeroom, in Tucson,
Arizona. Steve has in the last twenty years been an extremely
prolific composer with a total of nearly thirty albums
to his credit. A digital composer, Steve's soundscapes
incorporate a unique blend of contemporary and traditional
instruments . . . from the guitar to the digeridoo and
the synthesizer to pre-hispanic flutes and clay water
pots.
